Wonderland: Ruby Shoes follows Himi, a silent protagonist who finds herself transported into the twisted depths of her childhood dreams—a place once filled with magic and wonder, now corrupted by dark forces. Drawn by a strange compulsion, she is forced to explore this haunted, decaying fairytale world where nothing is as it seems. Here, friendly faces hide sinister secrets, memories bleed into nightmares, and even the landscape itself seems hungry for her.

As Himi ventures deeper, she meets an eccentric cast of companions: Eleanor, a young and wary prince; Miki, a mischievous kitsune boy; and Lilac, a crossdressing Snow King with mysterious motives. Each character seems to know more about Wonderland’s dark history than they let on, guiding her with cryptic hints and unsettling warnings. Together, they traverse cursed gardens, decaying forests, and an eerie kingdom ruled by shadows, solving puzzles tied to Himi’s repressed memories and traumas.

Along her journey, Himi is haunted by silent apparitions, hallways that loop endlessly, and eerie visions of her past that seep into Wonderland's environments. Silent but resilient, she learns to face her fears and unravel the mystery of the Ruby Shoes, which hold the power to break the curse—or consume her entirely.

Himi’s choices lead to one of several endings, each revealing a different fate for her and Wonderland. Will she escape, shatter Wonderland’s illusion, or accept her place within its cursed realm? The Wonderland: Ruby Shoes weaves a story of childhood innocence lost, the weight of memory, and the courage to face one’s darkest fears in a world that is both dream and nightmare.
